For the Super Bowl, I wanted a recipe that was different. I always have the cheese dip, chips, sausage balls, and other snacks. This was definitely different, delicious, and something I will add to our monthly menus.
Root Beer Pulled Pork Sandwiches
1lb pork roast
12 oz root beer (I used A&W)
Your favorite BBQ Sauce, I used Sweet Baby Rays
Place roast in crock pot. Pour root beer over roast, and cook 4-6 hours, until done.
Take roast out. Discard rootbeer.
With 2 forks, pull the pork roast apart into shreds. Place back in crock pot. Pour bbq sauce over pork and reheat in crock pot.
Serve over heated or toasted buns!
